THE BEST OF THE GROUND GAME FROM WEEK 2

The week 2 running backs were exactly what you would expect them to be, not a lot of surprises here. The best running back on the week was Jonathan Taylor who had a great week with 165 rushing yards, 50 yards receiving and a touchdown.
The only surprise on the list for this week was Rhamondre Stevenson who made the jump from 4.7 fantasy points in week one, to 21.2 fantasy points for week two. Stevenson’s week was highlighted with 54 rushing yards, 88 receiving yards on 5 receptions. In this Patriots offense it’s hard to tell who the lead will be back. Treveyon Henderson was the lead back in week one, and now for week two we have Stevenson taking over. I would lean into the Stevenson pick and scoop him up if he is still available in your league, he is owned in 77% of ESPN leagues.
The remainder of the top ten from week 2 were the running backs that you drafted with full expectations that they would be your bell cow running back. The biggest surprise on the week is the absence of Saquon Barkley, and Josh Jacobs from the list.
The waiver wire pick of the week is Rachaad White who put up 14.6 fantasy points in week two, with 65 rushing yards and a touchdown. White is only rostered in 47.6% of ESPN leagues and should be your number one priority on the waiver wire if your team needs a running back.
