Amon'Ra St. Brown

FANTASY FOOTBALLS BEST WIDE RECEIVERS FOR WEEK 2

The week was a mixed bag in the wide receiver category with some familiar names and some names that you may not be familiar with for fantasy.  The top receiver on the week was Amon-Ra St. Brown who had a crazy week with 115 yards and 3 touchdowns, that translated to 39.2 fantasy points on the week.

The top three was rounded out with Malik Nabors, and Ja’Marr Chase, but that should not be a surprise to anyone.  Nabors posted 167 receiving yards on 9 receptions with 2 touchdowns for 37.7 fantasy points.  Chase was right there with 165 yards on 14 receptions and 1 touchdown for 36.5 fantasy points.

As for the names that you don’t expect to see on the top ten list we had a few, Wan’dale Robinson, Troy Franklin and Hunter Renfrow.  The Giants and Cowboys game was a crazy high scoring affair and that help propel Robinson to a 28.2 fantasy point performance.  Robinson posted 142 receiving yards on 8 receptions with a touchdown, good enough to make him the #5 receiver on the week.  Franklin had 89 receiving yards on 8 receptions and a touchdown for 24 fantasy points.  While Renfrow put together a nice performance with 48 yards on 7 receptions, and 2 touchdowns for 23.8 fantasy points.

The waiver wire picks for the week are Wan’Dale Robinson and Troy Franklin are great picks if your team needs a wide receiver.   Robinson is the #9 ranked wide receiver on the year to date and only rostered in 30% of ESPN leagues.  While Franklin the second-year pro is ranked at #14 and only rostered in 2.1 percent of leagues.
