SHEDEUR SANDERS FANTASY FOOLS GOLD ……?

Every week fantasy players are looking for the edge over their opponent, and hopefully for the remainder of the fantasy season! A big part of that edge comes from the waiver wire and picking up potential breakout players. Last week Shedeur Sanders got his big break as the starting QB for the Browns as they faced off against the lowly Raiders. While he got the win, were his stats really worthy of a spot on your fantasy roster?
Sanders went threw 20 passes and completed 11 of those passes for 209 yards, a fairly pedestrian performance. He tallied 1 touchdown and 1 interception, with a rush for negative 1 yard on the ground. The totality of his performance was good enough to put up 14.9 points in PPR Fantasy. Not a super performance, but in a week where the number 1 QB in fantasy football Josh Allen gave you 8 points was it really that bad? Actually yes, it was that bad Allen was going up against the #1 defense in football the Texans. While Sanders was playing the #28 ranked defense in Las Vegas.
This week Sanders will play at home against the 49ers, and this will be a little better test of how he will actually be as an NFL quarterback. While the 49ers are not the best defense, they are worlds better than the Raiders. Let’s keep in mind that Sanders is a 5th round draft pick and the only reason that anyone is talking about him is because his father is Dion Sanders.
My suggestion is to leave Sanders on the waiver wire for week 13 in fantasy football, unless you’re in 2 QB league or dynasty situation. However, even in those leagues he is nothing more than a dart throw.
