SURPRISING WEEK ONE WR TOP 10

The wide receiver category was a wild one, the only receiver that made the top 10 for week one that was a projected top 10 was Puka Nacua. The rest of the top 10 were complete surprises, from the preseason projections. I don’t think anyone out there could have possibly projected this outcome.
The best overall wide receiver was Zay Flowers who posted an impressive 143 yards and 1 touchdown on 7 receptions for 28.1 fantasy points. The next best receiving yards was Puka Nacua who posted 130 receiving yards. There was only one other receiver who had over 100 yards and that was Keon Coleman who posted 112 yards.
The most touchdown production on the week came from Quentin Johnston and Emeka Egbuka who both posted 2 touchdowns.
As far as projections for next week this is a hard one following a wild week. The Chargers had two receivers in the top ten with Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen and they will travel to Las Vegas who gave up 287 passing yards to Drake Maye, so I would expect a similar result. The rest of the field will continue to put up similar numbers as they posted in week one. The difference will be the rest of the field will bounce back and raise the bar. You can expect Jamarr Chase, CeeDee Lamb and Nico Collins to bounce back and knock some of the current roster out of the top 10.
